We wish you a merry christmas

This is probably my last post of the year, because tomorrow i am off to the homeland for Christmas festivities with my family. E is also going, but because my parents don't like her i doubt we'll be spending much of Christmas together .

Christmas in my house is usually good, my parents always have a huge tree that's been cut from the woods at the back of our house, there's usually lots of presents underneath it (like my Nintendo D.S. this year). Christmas dinner will be prepared by a small team of well wined chefs with a turkey that is big enough to feed Rwanda, and the gifts in the crackers are usually worth keeping (every year i hope for a lil puzzle that i can busy myself with all day).

At night we'll play a DVD game, or a board game or something and have Turkey sandwich's and my parents will get embarrassingly drunk whilst i stay sober in fear that should i get drunk i might let slip about my real life on the planet earth.

As is becoming traditional i spent yesterday at a health spa. Last year i did it because i was going home to see E, but this year it was because i could really. This time tomorrow I'll be on a train, face pressed up against the window, the sound of Chris Moyles coming from my iPod as the rest of the world dissolves away and i just watch the model world which goes on outside, covered in in a frosty white sheen that makes everything seem somewhat more pleasant.
